Patent infringement and unfair competition

Advising a global automobile manufacturer on a number of issues connected with the infringement of patent protected industrial design rights and unfair competition by a Chinese automobile company.
The dispute was triggered by the imports to Ukraine of China-manufactured cars identical to two car makes manufactured by our client’s Korean division. The dispute was successfully settled in Ukraine as a part of global settlements between our client and the infringing company.
