Vasil Kisil & Partners Treats Guests to Great Masterpieces of Art

On September 12, 2013 firm "Vasil Kisil & Partners" held a private screening of the "Grand and Great" exhibition for clients and partners at Ukraine's largest museum complex Mystetskyi Arsenal. The event attracted more than 200 guests representing business, government, professional and business associations, as well as media.
In their welcome speeches, VKP's Senior Partner Vasil Kisil and General Director of Mystetskyi Arsenal Natalia Zabolotna presented the very unique Ukrainian exhibition "Grand and Great" which brought together 1,000 timeless masterpieces drawn from the collections of 35 eminent Ukrainian art, historical and archaeological museums.
Selected guests of the art event organized by Vasil Kisil & Partners with the support of Mystetskyi Arsenal had the privilege to sample an entire cluster of painters, starting from the works of the famous Russian portraitist of Ukrainian origin who dominated during Catherine II era Vladimir Borovikovsky; a monumentalist Nikolai Ge famous for his works on religious motifs kept at the Museum d'Orsay in Paris, a member of a progressive Peredvizhniki artistic movement and the master of genre paintings Mykola Pymonenko who glorified the Ukrainian life in his works that were showed at the Louvre during his life time, academician of the Petersburg Academy of Arts, co-author of Vladimir Cathedral frescos in Kyiv and the holder of the title of Rome’s best drawing artist Wilhelm Kotarbinski, to influential figures in folk art such were Maria Prymachenko and Hanna Sobachko-Shostak, as well as world-renowned geniuses who created on the territory of Ukraine Oleksandra Ekster and Kazymyr Malevych.
This exciting journey into the world of majestic beauty created by the great masters was guided by art historians Dmytro Gorbachev, Oleksii Ananov, Mariana Musii and Oksana Oliynyk. The evening unravelled to the background of a magnificent music performance by one of the best jazz groups in Ukraine – "Trio Alexandrova." Guests were impressed by the high profile and the unconventional format of this event.
