Vasil Kisil & Partners Tops Ratings in Eight Practice Areas

Based on the results of an independent legal market survey, which was conducted by the Yuridicheskaya Praktika newspaper in conjunction with Kommersant-Ukraine Publishing House, Vasil Kisil & Partners was top-ranked in eight practice areas: Corporate Law, Real Estate, Energy & Natural Resources, International Trade, Litigation, Restructuring & Bankruptcy, International Arbitration, and Agribusiness.
The survey was designed to identify the best law firms in Ukraine based on a number of criteria, such as revenue, number of lawyers, efficiency, reputation, complexity of deals and disputes handled by the lawyers. The results of this survey were published in a special supplement, The Top 50 Law Firms in Ukraine, which saw the light of day on December 6, 2011.
Oleg Makarov, firm’s Managing Partner, has been recognized as number one in Litigation. Oleksiy Filatov, Partner, and Vadym Belyanevych, Senior Counsellor, have also been named among the best litigation practitioners in the country.
Mr. Filatov has been recognized as one of the leading lawyers in the field of Intellectual Property.
